Admissions and Enrolment at Orangeville Christian School

Once you have perused the above document, you are ready to begin the admissions process at Orangeville Christian School.

Admissions Process at OCS

1. A tuition fee payment schedule in place by the middle of August before enrolling the following September.
2. The Board  will determine final acceptance.  Grade placement of the student will be determined by the Principal in consultation with the Resource teacher, homeroom teacher, and possibly another professional.
3. It is understood that parents are in agreement with the policies of the school as stated in the "Statement of Parental Support".
4. No student will be denied admission due to race, colour, national origin or Christian denomination.
5. Parents must support the faith statement as outlined in Articles II and III of the Constitution.

New Students:

1. Visit to the school and a meeting with the principal.
2. Satisfactorily completed application forms and information forms with attached deposit cheque of $600
3. A satisfactory interview 
4. Transcript records from last school attended and a copy of a current report card.
5. Students may be tested to determine grade placement as well as specific needs.
6. Up-to-date certificate of immunization.
7. Students entering Junior Kindergarten (JK) must be four (4) years of age by December 31 of that year.
8. Students entering Senior Kindergarten (SK) must be five (5) years of age by December 31 of that year.

Returning Students:

1. Satisfactory academic work and conduct.
2. Satisfactory parent cooperation and support.
